Currently, our best medical indications show human growth hormone (HGH) does not directly cause cancer. The best evidence we have to date, comes from the work of Dr. Chen and Dr. Terry. The doctors, Chen and Terry performed over 800 over treatments that included HGH injection to patients between 1994 – 1996.

As of yet, there have not been any reports of cancer from any of their patients. As Dr. Terry stated in the book Grow Young with HGH, “With 800 people over the age of about 40, you would think that given normal incidence rate of cancer, some of these people would get cancer. It could be that there is some sort of protective effect from growth hormone replacement.”

Most doctors have concern for their patients who have existing cases of active cancer wishing to add human growth hormone therapy into their regime.
